There is a wide variety of funeral transports. Choose from the latest Pilato Mercedes Hearse and Limousine fleet, a Horse Drawn Carriage or even the increasingly popular Motorcycle Hearse. Please ask your Funeral Director for further details.

We can supply a motorbike hearse that will safely convey your loved one to the crematorium or cemetery but still enable them to have ‘One Last Blast’. You can choose from four types of bikes:
Unique Hearses
We will do our utmost to personalise the funeral to truly reflect your loved one’s life. If you loved one was an enthusiast we can try to source some trasport fitting for them. Some of the options available are listed in this brochure, however in the unlikely event that you can’t find what you are looking for please speak to your Funeral Director about your request.
We can provide a passenger bus to follow Hearseby or Ernie – her name is Winnie. She can seat up to 5 passengers. Winnie is an 11 window kombi and was born in 1967, originally from Australia.
Funeral Vehicles – FAQs
How far in advance do we need to book a specific funeral vehicle?
We recommend booking your preferred funeral vehicle as early as possible, particularly for unique or alternative options such as horse-drawn carriages or vintage hearses, which are in high demand. We’ll always do our best to accommodate last-minute requests where possible.
Can I ride in the hearse with my loved one?
For safety and insurance reasons, mourners are not permitted to travel inside the hearse. However, we can provide limousines or additional vehicles for family and close friends to follow behind the hearse as part of the funeral cortege. We can also provide a vintage 1967 VW Kombi named Winnie, which can seat up to five passengers comfortably.
How many limousines can we book for the funeral party?
We can provide multiple limousines depending on your requirements and the size of your funeral party. Each limousine can typically seat up to 6 passengers. Please speak with your funeral director for availability and recommendations based on your chosen venue.
Can we decorate the vehicle with flowers, ribbons, or personal touches?
Yes, we can help personalise the funeral vehicle with floral tributes, ribbons, and other decorative elements that reflect your loved one’s personality. Please let us know in advance so we can arrange this respectfully and safely.
Are your hearses wheelchair accessible?
Our standard hearses are not wheelchair accessible. However, we can arrange suitable transport for wheelchair users in the funeral party. Please let us know your requirements, and we’ll ensure appropriate arrangements are made.
Can we use the funeral vehicles for multiple locations (e.g., home, church, cemetery)?
Yes. We can plan a funeral route that includes multiple meaningful locations, such as your home, place of worship, or a favourite spot of your loved one. We’ll work closely with you to create a route that feels right for your family.
Is there an additional cost for alternative or bespoke vehicles?
Some alternative vehicles may incur an additional fee due to specialist hire, preparation, or travel requirements. We’ll always be transparent about costs and can advise you on the most suitable options within your budget.
Do your funeral vehicles travel outside Blackheath?
Yes, we are able to arrange funeral transport for services across the West Midlands region. Travel costs may vary depending on the distance — please speak to your funeral director for a tailored quote.
Can we see the vehicle options in person before choosing?
In many cases, yes — we’re happy to arrange a viewing of available vehicles so you can make an informed choice. For specialist or hired-in vehicles, we can provide photos and full details in advance.
What if I have a unique request not listed here?
