The ERF EC12 Truck Hearse is much more than a specialist funeral vehicle. Originally built in 1999 at Sandbach, Cheshire, this Olympic Gold edition was one of the last ERF trucks produced before the factory closed, making it a genuine piece of British trucking history.
Known affectionately as "The Black Cat", the vehicle has become one of the most recognisable specialist hearses in the UK. Finished in its original factory black paintwork and professionally converted into a hearse in 2018, it combines the unmistakable appearance of a classic ERF with the dignity expected of a modern funeral procession.
Complete with its bespoke aluminium hearse body, Caterpillar C12 engine, factory side skirts and carefully preserved heritage, the ERF EC12 provides a striking yet respectful final journey.
